Veteran actor Danny DeVito has said he would be interested in playing Wario in the next Mario animated movie. Speaking to The Movie Dweeb, DeVito joked that he would ask for a lot of money if the opportunity ever came up to play Wario.

After the interviewer joked that they would talk to Mario voice actor Chris Pratt about making it happen, DeVito said, “I’m gonna take them to the cleaners but [tell them] that I should be in the movie.”

Speaking generally about potential upcoming roles, DeVito said, “I’m ready to do a lot of things.” He said the future is uncertain and anything could happen down the road, though as of yet, there is no indication that Wario will be in the next Mario movie and nothing connecting DeVito to it.

This isn’t the first time fans have lobbied for DeVito to play a role popular in gaming circles. Years ago, the internet lobbied for DeVito to be the voice of Pikachu, but that never materialized.

Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion is getting a modern take on the Runeword system from Diablo 2, one that will allow players to gain abilities their chosen class normally wouldn’t have access to.

If a player has more Offering than what the Rune of Invocation requires, they gain Overflow, which grants that Runeword bonus effects th…

It’s been over 15 years since the last Banjo-Kazooie game–unless you have managed to convince yourself that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a Banjo-Kazooie game. But hey, at least Microsoft and Rare haven’t entirely ignored the iconic bear and bird duo, as proven by a somewhat steady drip of official merch Come from Soccer 13 pools and matches . Banjo-Kazooie fans can preorder a new Funko Pop for $13 ahead of its August 14 release.

Like other Funko Pops, you’re getting a cute recreation of one of gaming’s best tag team, but with a Funko flair. This means big heads, bright colors, and soulless eyes that look like they’ve been burned away by unseen horrors during their long exile from the gaming spotlight. Just kidding, of course. As you can see by Banjo’s thumbs up pose, he’s perfectly content.

If you’d prefer a figure with a bit more display potential, GameStop’s exclusive Banjo and Kazooie figure was released earlier this year and came with a unique video game cover background. This one is slightly more expensive and costs $25.
